|Match lake is very picturesque with plenty of features and crammed full of F1s and crucians and supposedly tench. Also a large carp lake with a good head of  from 8-17lb majorities being 10 don't. forget the margins if your after a good day. a good spot is at the far end on your right just before the gate as you can hit the island and sand bar. its in crakehall mate just past bedale. Best place in town to go for a bag of gold. Me and airey sat n fished 3m to hand last year for a small crucian every chuck all day for around 30lb a piece.All it lacked was a bit of veriety , but im sure if you put the time in you will do a good weight on there

you ever fished eden meadows im there in two weeks time just started match fishing at my local club, just wondering whats the best bait to use and some tips if you have them
