Silver bream

I recently put my name down for a match,where I am told i could hook into a silver bream.I dont know of many places in the north where u can catch these ilusive fish.does anybody else know anywhere?

no mate,there is a sub species of the bronze bream called the silver bream.The british record currently stands at just over 2lb i think.Not many places up here have em.

i know theres a lake darn sarf that has sum specimine ones,thats bout it.

I always thought Skimmers were silver Bream tho. Will do some research for ya :)

Silver bream are a different species http://www.anglerstimes.co.uk/fishbream.htm, the small ones are very delicate so handle with care ;)

a think the record is well under 2lb shaun, am sure a read about it somewhere, theres a lake down the south thats got a few and the record only goes in that lake

im sure it was broken last year,just over a pound and a half,not sure if it was accepted tho.

yeah i know a trout fishery called farmire he used to be a course fishery a lot of years a go, now fly only but he lets you fish for the carp in there with a fly rod only,i used to be a poacher a lot of years ago and i know of ppl who caught silver bream in there on bread whilst poaching his trout

a sliver bream is just a skimmer mainley found in central europe.
PB: carp of 2 pounds ( started fishing last august )

It isnt mate. They are over hear aswel , its a variation of a bronze bream and it grows to nearly 2lb over hear. The foss up near york is full of em

jon bailey that toff from down south holds the record ive got an old total couarse mag ill dig it out and tell ya were it came from
