i just fished 18 cos me mate was  meeting me there and he had won 2 matches on 19 .  at a guess i would say about 6-7 feet deep. i thought all the white sticky stuff in the peg was slug slime.

only having a dafty lads  ;) i will give it a go on sunday though if no ones in it, im sick of fishing 3,4 and 5 now, people cant say that every fish in the resi are shoaling up in them deep pegs, i reckon theres shoals of fish all over the resi its just trying to get em confident enough to feed in the shallower water.

6 ft isnt shallo mate , its just shallower than the tower pegs. With the mild weather weve had thsi week , them pegs will hold fish . 6 foot is ample, they will be the first pegs to start warming up

I also find the stepped pegs a lot more comfortable to fish, can fit box and platform in easy. The tower side I leave platform at home.

Might be worth a day on the pole with expanders, nothing ventured.

Sat and Sun are supposed to be sunny but cooler.
