Looks like the Subs are increasing by £5 for the A section and £3 for B section.

yup cracking news, think i mentioned it on here quite a while back now that we were going for it...they are pretty adament that the first field belonging to northallerton at morton is deffo cumming off in the near future,so that aswell as what we,v got already, will be a cracking beat.

boundaries are as bri said above top limit at dovecot to just below the free section opposite the davenport, around 500yds down the road from the davenport itself.plenty of signs up.

although i do know that bradford number 1 are planning a high bid for morton, and im sure they'll beat stockton to that one as they tend to go out and own outrite.time will see,ile benefit anyways lol.

as for a price increase 3 quid is nothing for a well organised club like stockton.

I'd be guttered if they lose morton, but if they get that first bit of the stretch it would be class

The far bank line of trees looks inviting there. Also i've seen plenty of chub on that short section in the middle...

packed with chub and barbs mate in the summer, waters that shallow spooky as hell.we used to fish it with a top 4 carp kitt and get ya float rite underneath, float only travelled a few ft and it was away.

used the same method at the sheep hills with success.

Thought that Northallerton had just purchased the fishing rights for that stretch when it came up for grabs last summer?

Apparently Northallerton bought the field upstream of the bridge and someone else bought the downstream field and leased to Northallerton. I was talking to a guy on that feild last time out who knows the farmer and it is definitely up for sale, it would be a nice addition to Stockton water but if Bradford are in for it I guess it is dwon to who has the most cash and it's probably them. I think the Stokcton AGM is on this week so A section members will get the full info then.

it was andy staiths i was talking to a few wks back aswell as someone within the club, dont want to mention any names.not quite sure if a bid has been officialy given, but have it on gd merit that there's deffinate interest and has been for a while now.so far the info ive been given has been spot on,new about the ferryhill stretch almost a yr ago.so lets hope stockton get the water be a gd addition.im in bradford anyways, but be good to have both fields and keep it within a local club.

as finances go,if it comes down to money, bradford no1 will deffo come out winners.
bradford have already gained a few pegs at ainderby this yr,although only 5 pegs, its alien water, covers around 200yds.looking forward to fishing that. ;D
