Just thought I would Drop a line to say hello,

My name is Matty and live in Hemlington. I mainly fish Renny's with my Girlfriend (Who happens to catch bigger fish then me) and am currently planning my first trip of 2012.

I have had a quick look around and it seems like a nice place to spend some spare time.

See you about

Thank you for the warm wlecome everybody.

Yes I have fished Hemlington and an added bonus is my house over looks the lake, i could fish it from my Garden :)

It has been fishing really well over the summer with a mate of mine getting 60lb in 4 hours. Carp up to 2lb are common but a lad who lives over the road from me says that 5 to 12lb are showing up more and more. It is also packed with silvers. Roach averaging about 1lb. Like i say this was last summer and the lake has big problems with depth and weed (nothing changes) and still the cormorants. They have spend alot of money on it and it seems to be getting better. It also helps that hemlington isnt as bad as it used to be.....

welcum fella.

fished hemmo a couple of times ov an evening last year and did well for the carp, loads of roach in there aswell and a gd stamp of fish.

if your known around the lake u'll know drummy a good mate of mine,he's had fish to 16lb.
if they dont do something soon,it will end up back to how it was,u still got the numpties, dragging carp across the banks witnessed it myself, makes u sick, although most ov the lads are decent.

needs someone round the lake a little more often, but albert park no diff either, fish are looking scabby and litter everywere, but again just the odd few will spoil it for the rest.

have fun with the sight, some good lads on ere.
