dinsdale today

well meself and forty headed to dinsdale today.arrived to the river been spot on xtra 6 to 8" in and dropping nicely,loads of colour maybe a lill to much but didnt effect the fishing.

set up the feeder,likky and flake,first off.5 mins in a 3lb chub in the nett and not far after came no2 around 2lb.
bites went fiddly,reeled in shortend the hooklengh and dropped diameter and got immediate result in another 2 chub around the same stamp.

bread went very quiet and the flow had picked up and it started to rise 1's again but plodded on,switched to me new double gloucester with onions and chive past and got another two chub slightly smaller.so half a dozen fish aint bad.

post the pics later cos forgot to charge me camera,but got em on the phone,just need to sort me leads out.

enjoyable day...lez few fish out there with your name on bud.

yep was at a good level shame it was so up and down it fell by a 6 inch then rose by a foot a few hours later, i managed 3 chub 2 small not even a pound and one of about 2lb...and a very small jack of about 1lb that took me worm!!! all in all good day shame about the big un Mark lost on the flake lead him a right merry dance all over the river before snapping him off at his feet!!!

forgot to mention that one lol.if i wasnt on the bread ide have betted my life it was a whisker.but i did have an annoying pike into double figures by my side all seshion that took a liking to anything that past its nose,leads feeders u name it.watever it was ripped 35yds of line of on a heavey clutch,shot of over the other side,then upstream for another 50yds could hardly keep up with it,before it went into a tree on the far bank.other possibility was a foul hook salmon or sea trout or summit.

would av been nice to see it watever it was,even if i didnt land it,but thats fishin.

and i nely went in the brink on numerous occasions them banks was lethal today,specially when u go for a relief and almost soak yaself ...managed not to

want that pig that ran off with me gear....there feeding well down there mate,just got to find the rite peg.they shoaled up,u get 1 u'll get more.

forcast is for the odd shower between now and then,its what falls higher up and there;s a bitt due up there,monday is forcast cold with odd sleety showers,so wrapp up warm....them chub will still feed,providing we dont have 4ft in lol.

Nah mick I Have a border terrier, and the girl you see doing the stretching etc on the block is my neighbour Tarmo Kink,s girlfriend.  Ha ha !! Bet you missed some bites whilst you were watching her ha ha !  I might bee fishing opposite you on saturday, I promise not to do too much stretching for ya ! I would hate to have you miss any bites.

now i know why u chose a double peg and asked me to fish along side you ......but i didnt i went downstream and knicked micks loosy as it came down....makes a change,sure mick waits for me to sit down first and heads downstream pmsl.
