God that stinks!!!!

Well ive upset the wife again!!! Just try my hand at makin some halibut paste with scorched pellets the kitchen stinks jeezz didnt think it would be that strong.....on a plus side its turned out ok and ive put the water i used to scorch em in my crumb cos the water stank as well....the missus has had me bleaching everything i used ...women eh no idea..

lmao im used to it and even i thought it was bad...it was probaly at that point i knew the sh.t was gonna hit the fan!!! Even with bleach on me hands i can still smell it lol ;D

guy in the shop warned me about lamprey, should have warned me about the mrs when I got in, had to go in the yard with soap and hot water til ide washed the stink off me hands.

I love the smell of hemp cooking   our lass isnt so keen but I just wait till she's out

was gonna start a new thread but will continue this one cos we on about hemp.....

do u keep it natural or do you vary and add bitts and bobs,i for 1 love the smell of hemp boiling,a must is quite a lot of suger,little bitt of curry powder now and again......but still a sucker for keeping things natural when using on the hook,generaly do the other when laying down a bed for the whiskers.

used to take me 20mins to boil it up but this bloody additive so one cant grow 1's seed into a naughty plant is a pain,specially the size of hemp i get,can take up to 50 mins now.

anyone got anything differant to add,im all for new idea's

i soak my hemp overnight with one of those tablets you used to get with the dried peas, think there bi-carb soda tablets . drain the water off , add 4 large spoons of sugar , fresh water then boil for about 10 to 15 mins. the water can be used to make paste when its cooled down.

if im using for the hook,still use me thermos,spot on by morn and fresh as it comes......do reccommend u use and old flask for this task lol.

well another one to try,pork and liver paste,smells lovely jubbly ...doubted me cheese,onions,and chives but worked well,u got to try dont ya.

this might be one for the summer months and whiskers.
