Tees , joe riggs
« on: January 21, 2012, 07:14:29 pm »
After a promising start today , the river decided to gurde its loins and horse thru like a train to make things very difficult. I bet the lads hat bowsey had fun holding bottom!  Never the less we had plenty of roach on the maggot , a good stamp aswel ,  no skimmers today though, these frosts must have put them off.We had to fish pinky when it got hard cos the maggots from spotty dog were the size of summat from the bush tucker trials!! Proper bait . If the flow had eased we will have had a proper bag of roach , and possibly some skimmers aswel.

ive never fished at joe riggs before, just near the vic bridge, is it where the boat sits and your fishing quite high from the water, if so im gona be there on monday if anyone else is down, was gona fish at netto but it looks like this joe riggs is the place to be, dont mind catching roach all day like, only got maggot and casters like, might have to pop over to spotty for some pinkies if thats what you were getting them on shaun.

yeh youll probz see me down there more often mate throughout the winter like, i dont drive you see so realisticly i can only go fishing when my dads going, but im just gona start getting the train to thornaby maybe once a week, its better than fishing locke park and the resi all the time, plus ill learn alot more fishing the tees than i will at the resi and other places.
