I only buy little things from it eg hooks bags of feed pellets etc. And that's only really 'cos it's round the corner from work.

You get the impression the online side and ebay is more important.

Was there today Peter what time were you in ? The dog's harmless just likes to check people out.

Probably looking to catch something for their tea  :-\

Loads of people walking across to the river from spotty way (or this end of the high street) with rods already set up today - strange to see - gangs of lads

I remember watching a Police armed response unit surround the place and make an eastern European come out and lay on the floor while they frisked him. Never did find out what it was about.

He ran in there trying to escape the police I think , nowt to do with the shop. In the shops defence, it aims more at the sea lads , the coarse side of it isnt as big as there sea fishing side . I use it occasionaly and i know airey uses them regularly and we neve rhave any complaints. Big maggots , decent pre packed casters ideal 4 chopping , and good service. Its just a bit far for me to go rewaly or I would use it more often , just as a change.

Darren's left, there's a new lad in there who lives in a flat above the shop.

Think that's why they were a bit frazzled on Friday.

Maggots are usually fine, tend to buy em on a friday for weekend fishing. Seem to have stopped doing the bags of micros, hemp and crumb unless they've just stopped for now until next spring.
