big bash mystery pairs match

HI ALL

ive just joined the forum after having a look at it for a while , must say it looks great ,

id just like to let you all know about the big bash events i organise for breast cancer care ,

so far in the last 4 years we have raised more than £16000 and reguarly get more than 270 anglers taking part , including the likes of ALAN SCOTHORNE AND TOMMY PICKERING , at the mystery pairs match we also have THE GREAT BOB NUDD

here is a a bit of info about the pairs match for you :::so far we have 100 down to fish on the day

MYSTERY PAIRS MATCH

SAT 18TH OCT 2008

GARBALINO LINDHOLME LAKES

£25 ALL IN INCLUDING POOLS AND PEGGING FEES

ROLLING DRAW FROM 8AM DRAW FISH 10-30 - 3-30
(break down of entry money £11 to charity : £4 pegging fee: £10 pools )

PAYOUTS AS FOLLOWS BASED ON 100 ANGLERS


£25 per man = £2,500

£4 pegging fees

£11 donated to breast cancer care = £1,100

£10 pools = £1000

10 man sections(10) £40 per section = £400

PAIRS PAYOUT (split between the pair )

1st £200
2nd £170
3rd £130
4th £100

£1,000 total payout.


WE ARE GOING TO RUN A SMALL RAFFLE SO IF YOU CAN, WOULD YOU PLEASE BRING A SMALL PRIZE WITH YOU FISHING OR NONE FISHING , THAT WOULD BE GREAT , IT ALL HELPS
HOW THE PAIRS WILL WORK

we will book pegs for this on a pre paid basis , a cheque for £11 will see your peg confirmed ,
all cheques made payable to BREAST CANCER CARE ,

you pay your pools money and pegging fees on the day £14

this is how the Mystery pairs works

ROLLING DRAW FROM 8AM AS NORMAL
DRAW YOUR PEG AS NORMAL
THERE WILL BE POTS MARKED WITH EACH LAKE THAT IS ENTERED IN THE OFFICE
ONCE YOU HAVE DRAWN YOUR PEG ,
WRITE YOUR NAME AND PEG NUMBER ON A BIT OF PAPER AND PUT IN CORRESPONDING POT ,
ONCE ALL PEGS ARE DRAWN MY WIFE WHO IS TOTALLY INDEPENDANT WILL MAKE THE DRAW FOR THE PAIRS BUT.........

IT WILL THEN GO INTO A SEALED ENVELOPE AND NO ONE WILL KNOW WHO THEY HAVE TILL THE END

NOT EVEN ME !!!!!!!
