Perch Record Broken!

Havnt myself mate,they seem to turn up by accident.

The record claim has been thrown out I think due to the facr he was poaching in a nature resrve.

i think the next record might come from a still water if their like pike they thrive on neglect cant see many people targeting
perch on still waters if anyone is going to have a go this year on the tees give me a shout

The blokes a divvy, fishing in private stretch, with no license . funny as hell though.

i have and it took me 3 days to catch a perch at 4lb and 15 other perch on the 4th day and the 5th day it took me a wile to find them but when you do you cant stop catching them it is great fun and i was only using 3lb line and a small spinner with red on the hook and it triggered the fishes predator instincts and they just went mad for it and the are so much fun to catch if you can locate a big or small shoal of them

Thats the problem mate,needle in a haystack

has anyone put any real effort into locating a big perch on the tees would like to know if anyone has

i thought mine was huge at 3lb 4oz,fish of a lifetime for me of the ure...but thats a beuty.

i was wobbling dead baits when i got mine for the pike,so a total accident i latched into it.

still a moron mind fishing without licence.

has anyone put any real effort into locating a big perch on the tees would like to know if anyone has

I know this topics been dead for a little while, but there's some big perch around the boat yard near Auto Electrics (other side of river+bridge from where netto used to be) but the best spot i found for them is now very hard to fish due to distance to water level (see pic below)

Used to pull alot of 3lb+ perch out of there about 6mtrs from the wall on double red maggys, but there was alot of snags (ideal perch hiding places of course).

Think i might have to get the boat out this year and try target them again!

they turn up down the town we have all had them over 3lb this year
