could the tees produce a perch of that size
the amount of small bait fish you can catch would a perch of over 5lb be possible

Ive seen my brother loose one at the net the must have been nocking 4lb at preston park,that was years ago,you never know.The perch very rarely get targeted on the lower tees as a lot of the time,its bream or bust,I was pole fishing at netto last year and had one over a pound on a single maggot in amongst a shoal of roach and skimmers,and I was bust by something a lot larger,possibly a pike,but it may just have been a perch.

I've weighed them in in Yarm matches to about 3.5 lb but I'm sure there are much bigger ones out there
